TAXI (w.t.)
Concept by Lydia McKinley
Scenes taking place within a taxi, with different passengers entering & exiting throughout, following a taxi driver’s journey & experience working in a city. It's a story about the desire for connection through conversations, & the search for belonging within a vast metropolis.
New devised theatre piece with the working title TAXI is led by director Lydia McKinley. Exploring the fleetingness of human connection and using a mixture of verbatim interviews and devised content, this episodic play is currently awaiting an ACE project grant to begin its 3rd research & development workshop.
Originally concieved at Nuu's 24hr Theatre workshop - 2019 in partnership with Jacksons Lane.
